April L’Orange began life as a terribly serious little old woman and has been growing younger ever since. When she’s not writing, she’s usually working as a freelance editor or beating back the yard with a machete. She and her husband live in upstate New York, where they are owned by two cats and the Squirrel Mafia. She’s published short SF/F with Crossed Genres Magazine 2.0, Dagan Books, and Pink Narcissus Press.

Okay, enough third person. *g*

This blog is where I announce publications and appearances, post occasional book reviews, and sometimes ramble about current events, science, and the woodchuck in my backyard. It sometimes gets a little stale, because I seem always to be working on one more project than I can juggle at a time, and blogging is usually what slips. But fear not! If you want to say hi or reassure yourself that I’m still alive, I am terribly active on Twitter as @AprilLOrange, where I am seldom without opinions (and a little less wordy).

If you’d rather contact me without a 140 character-limit, you can leave me a comment here or drop me a line.
